HaMizgaga
Ha’ Mizgaga – A Museum for nautical and regional archeology is housed in a two-story stone structure in the heart of Kibbutz Nahsholim, and within a short walking distance from Tel-Dor. The building opened in 1891 by the Baron Rothschild as a factory for producing glass wine bottles. Meir Dizengoff, who was later to become mayor of Tel-Aviv, was appointed manager of the factory. Because of the numerous difficulties – malaria, the local sand’s unsuitability for glassmaking, and a lack of profitability – the factory was closed and abandoned within five years of its opening. In 1980, members of Kibbutz Nahsholim began to restore the structure. At the same time archaeological excavations were begun at Tel Dor and nearby bays, and the factory became a charming and unusual museum.

Ralli Museum
The Ralli Museum in Caesarea are part of five Ralli Museums in the world,

Nili Museum- Beit Aaronsohn
“Nili” – Story of the First Jewish Underground
Acronym for: ‘ Netzach Israel Lo Yishaker ‘- The Eternity of Israel will not deceive.

The story of the ‘N.I.L.I.’ is bound with the story of the Aaronsohn family, one of the
founding families of Zichron Ya’akov (1882), in the Yishuv which was part of the
Ottoman Empire at that time. During World War 1, the rule became oppressive
and cruel, threatening the very existence of the Jewish settlements in Eretz Israel.

Janco Dada Museum
The Janco-Dada Museum was opened in 1983 in the Ein Hod Artists’ Village to display
the work of Marcel Janco and continue his vision for promoting art. One of the founders
of the international Dada movement, Janco’s efforts led to the establishment of Ein Hod
in 1953.

Museum of the Underground Prisoners
The citadel of Acre was built during the Ottoman Period over the ruins of a 12th century
Crusader fortress. During the British Mandate, the citadel served as the main prison for
the north of Israel. Hundreds of members of the Haganah, Etzel and Lehi underground
organizations were imprisoned here because of their struggle to defend the Yishuv
(the body of Jewish residents in Palestine, before the establishment of the State of Israel),
their war against mandatory rule and their fight for their right to establish a national home
in the Land of Israel.

National Maritime Museum
The National Maritime Museum in Haifa showcases the history of shipping in the Mediterranean Basin and the maritime story of the city of Haifa. The museum displays over 5000 years of history and maritime archaeology, and makes it possible for its visitors to encounter and learn about ancient ships, anchors, battling rams, and other archaeological findings, such as gold coins treasures that were found in marine excavations. The museum also displays the pirate exhibition and the Hebrew-shipping endeavour.

National Museum of Science
Madatech, Israel’s National Museum of Science Technology and Space, Haifa,
is Israel’s largest science museum.
Established in 1983, Madatech is housed in historic landmark buildings, located in the heart of a 7 acres green campus in mid-town Haifa. Also located on the campus are the northern garden, where the palm tree planted by Albert Einstein at 1923 still stands, the beautiful and historic Technion building, The Noble Energy Science Park is located at the campus yard and not far from it is the changing exhibitions building, the CinematriX and the large laboratory department at Madatech’s education wing.

Tikotin Museum of Japanese
The Tikoting Museum of Japanese Art showcases an extensive variety of approximately 7,000 contemporary and traditional Japanese art, including paintings and prints, antique decorated books, room dividers, antique swards, and various art objects. The museum, which is nestled on the crest of Mount Carmel, is completely dedicated to Japanese culture and the collection, preservation, and exhibition of Japanese art, and is the only one of its kind in the Middle East.
